Cara nonna

Ho deciso di scrivere su questo blog la storia della tua famiglia, nonna, quella che per tante volte mi hai raccontato, la famiglia D'Angelo conosciuta come "Crevì". Tuo padre Sabatino D'Angelo era nato a Tortoreto il 14 luglio 1857 da Bernardo D'Angelo e Vittoria Olivieri. Possedeva un frantoio in località Terrabianca. Sul frantoio c'era riportata una data: 1895 verosimilmente anno di costruzione dello stesso.



Piccolo proprietario terriero fu eletto consigliere al Comune di Tortoreto nel 1914 con 531 voti di preferenza (fonte "Rivista Adriatica" di Antonio Iampieri). A Terrabianca c'è ancora la croce in ferro con la simbologia tipica dei passionisti, commissionata da Sabatino D'Angelo.

I've decided to write on this blog the story of your family, dear grandma, the one that you always told me the D'Angelo (better known as Crevì) family story. Your father Sabatino D'Angelo was born in Tortoreto on 14 July 1857 from Bernardo D'Angelo and Vittoria Olivieri. He was the owner of an olive press at Tortoreto. On it there was a date: 1895 probably the year of his building. Small landowner he was elected on 1914 Town councillor of Tortoreto with 531 preferential votes ("Rivista Adriatica" by Antonio Iampieri). In locality Terrabianca there is still the iron Cross with the typical symbology of passionists that Sabatino ordered.
